Ayodhya Ram Mandir

  • Ayodhya Ram Mandir Diwali 2022 is very special as it is going to be celebrated as Ayodhya Deepotsav.
History 
  • The Babri Masjid, a mosque built by the Mughals in the sixteenth century, is thought to be located near the Ram Janmabhoomi, the reputed birthplace of Rama. In the 1850s, a fierce disagreement developed.
  • The remains of a Hindu temple were discovered during archaeological excavations conducted by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) between 1978 and 2003.
  • A number of historians, according to archaeologist KK Muhammad, have questioned the results.
  • Numerous title and legal conflicts also occurred throughout time, leading to the 1993 adoption of the Acquisition of Certain Area at Ayodhya Ordinance, for example.
  • It wasn’t until the 2019 Supreme Court ruling on the Ayodhya issue that it was decided the disputed land should be transferred to an Indian government trust established for the purpose of constructing a Ram temple.
  • Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra was the final name given to the trust.
  • The mosque was given five acres of land in the village of Dhannipur, 22 kilometres away, in the city.
Ram Mandir 
  • The Shri Ram Temple’s superstructure will be made of about 4.75 lakh cubic feet of Bansi Paharpur Stone, of which 40% has been cut and is ready for building as of this writing.
  • For the main temple’s Garbh Griha, flooring, arches, railings, and door frames, white Makrana marble stone from Rajasthan has been chosen.
  • Ayodhya Ram Mandir is a Hindu temple called Ram Mandir is now being constructed in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India.
  • At the location of Ram Janmabhoomi, the birthplace of Rama, the main god of Hinduism, according to the Ramayana.
  • The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra is in charge of supervising the construction of the temple.
  • India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed the groundbreaking ceremony on August 5, 2020.
  • There will be temples for the gods Surya, Ganesha, Shiva, Durga, Vishnu, and Brahma on the temple grounds.
