International Science Literature Festival – VIGYANIKA organized to mark the birth anniversary of Srinivasa Ramanujan.

Highlights
  • The event is aimed to take science and literature to the masses and showcase strategies to employ various aspects of science communication to promote self-reliance and global welfare.
  • There is the need for enabling integration of local languages with technology to sustain and preserve science communication in regional languages in our multilingual country.
  • Wellness Conclave include Well to do kitchen pharmacy: Video Competition, Happiness Yoga: Yogasana Competition, Aaliz well: Kavi Sammelan, and Get well soon were a few interesting and wellness centric sessions. 
Srinivasa Ramanujan

He was one of India's greatest mathematical geniuses. He made substantial contributions to the analytical theory of numbers and worked on elliptic functions, continued fractions, and infinite series.
His birth anniversary on 22 December is celebrated as National Mathematics Day in India.
Ramanujan was born in the small town of Erode in Tamil Nadu (then Madras Presidency) on 22 December 1887, to a store clerk and a temple singer.
