  • Rajindar Singh Dhatt has been the driving force behind the “Undivided Indian Ex-Servicemen’s Association,” an organization focused on uniting British Indian war veterans.
  • The Points of Light award acknowledges Dhatt’s exceptional service and his relentless efforts to bring together these veterans. 
  • Dhatt, currently based in Hounslow, southwest London, was born in pre-Partition India in 1921.
  • During the Second World War, he joined the British Indian Army, demonstrating his dedication to serving his country.
  • Through his commitment and hard work, Dhatt climbed the ranks and achieved the esteemed position of Havildar Major (Sergeant Major) in 1943.
