  • More than 6,500 medical consultations have already been carried on the beta version by service doctors. 
  • The Raksha Mantri described SeHAT OPD portal as a great example of innovation, especially at a time when the nation is fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. 
  • 'SeHAT OPD' portal reflected the government's commitment to 'Digital India' and 'e-governance'.
Significance
  • The online outpatient platform, SeHAT-OPD Portal will ensure widespread access to quality health services in remote areas apart from reducing the load on the hospitals.
  • The launch of the portal is also a very significant step taken at a very critical time for the health of service personnel.
